The result of a collaboration between vaunted freelance animator and illustrator Daisy-san and digital composer Emmett Kane, Steel Sergeant is the post-apocalyptic metroidvania that never was.

Concept

In Steel Sergeant, you play as Emil, the machine soldier of the future and brainchild of the brilliant (and vaguely criminal) Dr. Freya Spade.Following a mild disagreement between your creator and their government paymasters, you've been powered down, packed away, put up for auction, and shipped off to the highest bidder. However, a mysterious signal downs your plane near a town on the new frontier, setting you loose in a hostile region on the edge of structured society.Make a name for yourself, shape the world, find your old master, or ignore it all and join the rest of the rust and ruin in this casket of the old world.

Soundtrack

In addition to a world rich with the brutality of the apocalypse, Steel Sergeant presents a complete original soundtrack, produced by Emmett Kane.The OST features complex and evolving stage themes for three of the setting's primary locales, and five separate heart-racing boss fight tracks in addition to a selection of sub-area and bonus tunes.
